Create an emergency preparedness plan.
I walk my bully pits in the afternoon near downtown Dallas.
I picked up migrating predator vibes as my 60 lb pit bull and I crossed behind this guy standing behind the bus stop. He seemed nervous and kept shaking his hands as he side eyed me in my peripheral vision.
Approaching the neighborhood on the side street, I looked back and there he was at the corner falling in line behind me.
I crossed the street. By now, cars were stacking up at the red light.
He crossed behind them in our direction.
I said, “Why are you following us?
He said, “I like what I see,” and kept coming.
Thoughts – he’s not afraid of my dog, what weapon is in that fanny pack?
Immediately I crossed back in between the cars zigzagging my way up and away from him back across the street preventing the drivers from going on green and creating many witnesses to my escape.

All I could think of was little 12 y/o Jocelyn Nungaray with two such predators on her and no pit bull.
BTW Babe would have flown up and ripped his throat out if I’d have let him get that close.

As I reached my apartments, I looked back and he was just making it back across the street, eyes still locked onto me.
I haven’t seen him since and I’m not expecting him to pay me a visit because Babe is my small bully. The other three are even worse. I’m well protected at home by men, dogs, and weapons.
I hope you are, too, my beautiful sisters.
Don’t be prey.
