Where did your name come from?
I’ve always said that I’m from The Moon when people have asked me where I’m from because having spent my single digits between California and Texas, my accent was hard to place.
So yes, I am Cynthia, Goddess Of The Moon. Don’t get it twisted!
You may call me Cyndi but please don’t drop it to Cyn❌ If we’re down to one syllable, call me Cea like “C” plus Sea. I’m literally in the oCEAn.
The name Cynthia originated on Mount Cynthus on the Greek isle of Delos part of the Greek Cyclades on the Aegean Sea.
The mountain’s name was used as an epithet for both Apollo, the sun god, and Artemis, the moon goddess, who were worshiped there in the 7th century BC.
