An earth and heaven anew
No more is the sea
New Jerusalem steps through
Steps into eternity
God’s tabernacle is now
On earth with mankind
He dwells among his people

God’s Word’s faithful and true
As he wipes away every tear
He makes all things anew
Alpha, Omega
Beginning, end
Drink the water of life
Eternity’s the inheritance
For the bride of Christ
Here the day lasts forever

No need of a candle
Father God is the light
Reigning
Forever and ever reigning
But the fearful, unbelieving, abominable
Murderers and liars
Whoremongers, sorcerers
Cast out into the fires
Carried away in the Spirit
To a mountaintop great and high
See the bride of the Lamb, holy Jerusalem
Descending from the sky
Twelve gates, angels, tribes
North, south, east, west
Twelve founds, apostles, stones
The wall’s built upon and blessed
And the gates are fashioned with pearl
Life belongs to those who pass
On streets of gold, life is eternal
Streets as see through as glass
Here the day lasts forever

From his throne, living water
From the tree of life, fruit
From God and Christ, the light
Jerusalem’s a beaut
From the leaves of the tree of life, we heal
Kings bring their glory and honor
To the throne and kneel
Cursed no more
In Christ we are one
In the Lord and the Lamb
In Father and Son
His face
His beautiful face
Outshining the sun
No shadow of turning
Eternity, we won
