In the darkness, in the night sky
Stands a woman wrapped in the sun
Standing on the entrancing moon
Frantic, coming undone
Twelve points of light, her crown
A stunning halo of star
And she travailing in birth
Father, be not far
Menacing, slithering
Arises a ten horn
With seven crowns for seven heads
A red dragon stalks the unborn
His tail draws a third of the stars
Casting them down to earth
Hungrily, he lingers
To devour the child at birth
And she births the newborn King
Who’ll rule with a rod of iron
In the blink of an eye, he is caught up
To the throne of God in Zion
The woman leaps to the earth
She knows the Lord, she trusts his ways
And she will be kept hidden
For a thousand, two hundred, threescore days
Jump, woman, fly
Run, run, woman, hide
Trust within the prophecy
Never worry, just believe
And all will see the writing on the wall
Now comes salvation and strength
Evil’s been restrained
Our accuser’s cast down, down, down, down

To cast out that old dragon
Called Satan, and the devil
Great tribulation falls
Upon the earth and sea
Satan’s lashing out
At the image of deity in you and me
His time short, the devil seeks
The woman who bore the man child
With two wings of a great eagle
She escapes into the wild
He spews a flood
Earth quakes to rescue
Swallowing the lethal spate
Driving the devil’s plan askew
The dragon turns his wrath
His tail cuts a swath
He’s raging to make war against
Those cut from holy cloth
Keepers of the commandments
Remnant of her seed
Testament of Salvation
By that old dragon envied
Jump, woman, fly
Run, run, woman, hide
